PASTOR NATHAN HITZ

God is worthy of all praise for His fashioning hand in my life. Under the influence of my parents and through faithful atten­dance to church, God opened my heart to recog­nize my need for salva­tion at a young age. I later responded to a camp sermon to serve God in any way, including full-time voca­tional ministry.

I majored in Biblical Studies and minored in Music during my college years. While pursuing my degree, I served in a local church ministry where I met my future wife, Elaine. She was an Education major who grew up wherever the Air Force sent her family. We married shortly after graduation and spent some time in my Pennsylvania hometown before moving to Minne­sota to attend Central Baptist Theological Seminary. I later graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree and have completed classes for a Masters of Theology. God has blessed us with four children along the way.

Since 2008, my family and I have been delighted to serve together with the people who make up Blaine Baptist Church.
